My Remaining is designed to be privacy-first. The calculator is intended to help you reflect on time, not to collect personal data.

What happens in your browser

In the MVP version of My Remaining, calculations run in your browser. You do not need an account, and your calculation inputs are not sent to a server by the core calculator.

Information saved locally

Some preferences may be saved in your browser using localStorage. This may include things like whether you hide suggestions or which interests you select to make recommendations more relevant. These preferences stay on your device/browser unless you clear them.

No tracking pixels or external ad scripts in the MVP

The MVP does not use tracking pixels, behavioural advertising scripts, external ad scripts, or third-party analytics scripts.

Partner and affiliate links

Some suggestion cards may link to external websites. If you click a partner or affiliate link, you will leave My Remaining and the destination website may have its own privacy practices, cookies, analytics, and terms.

Life expectancy data

My Remaining uses broad public-average life expectancy data for reflection only. These averages are not personalised predictions and should not be treated as medical advice.
